Shipping Policy
We ship books all over the world:
We ship orders within 2 to 4 working days, depending on our stock and procurement situation. Sometimes, it may take a few more days for which we notify you in advance. In most cases, all the books of your order will be sent together, in a single or multiple consignments.
Shipping Policy for Customers in India:
Shipping is free on orders worth more than Rs [Insert Minimum Order Amount]
For orders less than Rs. [Insert Minimum Order Amount], the amount we charge is Rs.[Insert Amount]. [Insert Company’s Home State Name] shipping cost is only Rs. [Insert Amount]. Shipping costs in other states of India except [Insert Company’s Home State Name] is Rs. [Insert Amount].
Books are sent in approximately 2 to 4 days after receipt of the order. In some cases the time may be 5 to 7 days, depending on our book stock situation.
Quick Courier Service:
All pre-paid orders (debit cards, credit cards, cash cards, net banking, cheques) in India are sent through courier Service. After dispatching the books, estimated delivery time is 2 to 3 days in [Insert Company’s Home State Name], 3 to 4 days in Mumbai-Maharashtra. There are 4 to 6 days in other states. (Except public holidays).
Courier service is available at more than 1600 locations across India.
Note: Even if courier service is not available at customer's address even after pre-paid order, books will be sent through registered postal service.
Cash On Delivery:
All 'cash on delivery' order V.P.P. (Value Payable) is sent through postal service. This service is not fast. Approximate delivery time for delivery can be between 3 to 7 days in [Insert Company’s Home State Name] and 5 to 12 days in India. Generally, the delivery of books is timely, but due to the limitations of postal service, there is a possibility of delays. Hence we cannot guarantee the delivery time due to which we exempt from any liability.
We request you to use other pre-paid payment methods to get quick access to books. If it is not suitable, contact us and we will give you details of our bank account, to which you can pay through NEFT / RTGS fund transfer methods.
Online tracking:
Online tracking of all orders is possible. Currently there is no tracking facility on the website. If you need this information then you can get it by contacting us.
Shipping Mode:
By Courier for Pre-paid Orders. By Registered Postal Service if Courier Service is not available at given address. 'Cash on Delivery' orders will be shipped using V.P.P Postal Service, which will cost approximately 5% of the order amount.
Shipping Charges:
We charge Rs.[Insert Name] for single order below Rs.[Insert Name]. Shipping will be free if the order amount exceeds Rs. [Insert Name].
Shipping Policy for Customers outside India:
Shipping Mode:
- By Standard International courier services (Online Tracking ID will be provided). Delivery within 5 to 12 Working days, approximately
- We may also use Air-Mail mode of Indian Postal Services, particularly for small consignments. (Online Tracking ID will be provided. Tracking will be available until the consignment leaves India). Delivery within 10 to 20 working days, approximately.
- Books will be shipped using either of the shipping methods, depending on the bulk of the order and the destination.
- Small orders up to [Insert Amount] US $, are generally shipped by Air Mail. If customer prefers faster courier service in such a case, we will be happy to provide that service at extra cost.
Shipping Charges:
Shipping cost is calculated on the basis of bulk of the order and destination. Customer can view the shipping cost in the shopping cart before making payment. Shipping charges are proportionally higher for smaller orders, and will get proportionally lower when customer adds more books in to cart. Usually, shipping charges are high for purchase up to [Insert Amount] US $
Late Delivery Or Non-Delivery:
In case of late delivery, we will certainly follow up the matter and will try to sort it out. However, we will not be liable for late delivery or non-delivery due to closed premises at the given address, or due to imperfect address or any other reasons. In such a case, if couriers or postal services return the consignment to us, charges for the reshipment will be borne by the customer.
We will not be liable for late delivery OR non-delivery by couriers or postal services in any country, due to any circumstances.
Order cancellation:
Order cancellation requests will be considered only if the request is made within 2 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants/suppliers and they have initiated the process of delivery.
We may cancel the order(s) if the ordered book(s) are not available through our sources, or for any other reason.
Refund:
If we are unable to supply any of the book(s) of your order, we will refund the relevant amount (including relevant shipping charges, if any) in full, if already paid by customer.
We will use any of the following means for refund:
Amount will be transferred to your Bank Or Credit Card / Debit Card Account OR We may send a Bank Cheque to you.
Returns & Replacement:
We will surely replace the books which you might have received in damaged OR defective condition. This may happen in rare cases, since all the books are checked carefully before being packed. The books are packed carefully too, using good quality packaging material.
Kindly contact us within 24 hours of delivery, if you receive any book(s) in damaged or defective condition, citing your order reference. In such cases, customer(s) will have to return the book(s) to us, at our Registered Address, at their expense and risk of loss. On receipt of the return, we will arrange the replacement for the same and that may take [Insert Days] working days. We will send the replacement at our cost.
If we unable to replace the book(s) due to unavailability or any other reason, we will refund the relevant amount (including relevant shipping charges, if any) in full, if already paid in advance.
